i went for another audition yesterday with nabil. yupp, for its another musical. headed to Linda Jasmine's studio around 2pm. for the first time, i found the way to ampang. tak sangka i duduk Malaysia. auw! hehe. so they say, Cuci will be Cuci The Musical.

Nabil said Steve lost weight. whatever shape he is then or now, he still spells H-O-T! Steve is the choreographer for the musical. for the first session all of us needed to learn a dance routine. n yeah, it's very The Cuci. hehe. well, i just had fun with it. n Steve is one hell of a dancer and i simply love him when he sweats. woo~ n from the big group they seperate everybody in a smaller group. Hans dint know how to say my name, so i went forward and said .."Herne?" and Steve repeated "Herne". i did my thing, though i can't quite recall the steps. haha~ byk lagi kena blaja.

next round is actually singing. i wasn't ready and when i was picking up a song from Nabil, it was already my turn. haih. whatever.

i met Tria Aziz, who's also gonna be with me in Kaki Blue. hope to see her this monday!

so later, Nabil was lucky, and his name got called. like it or not, i had to wait for him. his car is in Penang and i was the official transport of the day. hehe, kena tunggu pun ada bonus..

when Nabil was done, i said to him, "Jom salam them.."

n i shook hands with Hans. just so u know, he has the same exact voice as my ex. He's very tall.. and cute..my eye level mcm on his chest. i'm so freaking short.

and shooked hands with Harith Iskander and Zahim Al-Bakry. and then it was Steve's turn. Steve shooked hands and hugged Nabil, later i asked him, "Do I get a hug too?"

Before we took off, we had a short conversation with Zahim. He said "You should improve on your dancing.." I really wanted to tell him that i sucked at it n i can RoboDance but still i suck at it. well, eventually, i dint. hehe.

So if he’s my director, it means, I GOT THE PART FOR KAKI BLUE THE MUSICAL!!

Yeay, I surprised myself there. *crickets*

I got an e-mail yesterday saying I got the part. Sweet!!! The show is gonna be on July 30th till August 16th. This would officially be my 2nd musical performance after Whoa!Willow! (Director: Adlan Ramly, February 2008, Panggung Bandaraya). And I’m even happier to know that Tati, Amanda, Stefanie, Denise and Rashdan made it too! Somebody hit me!

It’s cool n all, n I’m really excited but what's really sour about it is that the training's a bit ... hectic. It would mean I have to work really hard for this and juggle my studies at the same time. Still thinking about the idea of heading to KLPAC right after class (from Shah Alam). Not to forget the fact that frequency of the training will increase gradually from 3 times per week to 6 times per week as the show draws nearer. All in all, from ‘read play’ til the last show, it's gonna be around 3 months.

I’ll be dead busy next sem. I won’t have all the time in the world but I’m sure that I’ll still have some time with my friends and I’ll remind myself that I won’t be sending SMSs like

Currently working on the content for Science Fiesta for Pusat Sains Negara. Gotta work with Keon tomorrow. Lotsa things to do! We’ll be rocking Pusat Sains Negara during June and July! There's gonna be lotsa activity that you can join. I'll keep you posted!

Huu~ I am really happy for all that is happening now and I really am. I never knew that I'll have the chance to do big projects, work with Joe Hasham and know more people. Just so you know, working with Joe is one of those things that I have in my “Things To Do Before I Die” list. It’s Joe Hasham beb!! Joe Hasham!!

It’s called commitment baby. One thing at a time.. A pinch of faith and determination will do the trick. Whatever it is, I’m up for it. InsyaAllah.

“bukan u ada exam jugak ke?”

I had to do something. And I manage to do something. And I did it. AD gave me this last week. And I thought, “what the heck just give it a try”.

It’s the same spot where I met Rowena and Putri at Camp Rock Malaysia – KLPac. Honestly, I haven’t prepared anything for the audition. Set aside the acting and dancing, I’m going to hell with it. What I was really concern was my singing. I think I really suck at it. But I still wanna sing. Haaa~

On the way, I could not think of a song that I can really present. From all the Disney songs to Yuna’s, I can’t seem to find something that was really my ‘soul’.

And on the way I was still thinking.

As I entered the room, I remembered where Putri and I snapped photos during Camp Rock. And it was in front of the mirror. Typical kan? Huhu. Well, there they were, the judges, I couldn’t recall all but Joe.

First round – Singing! Ding!

I think everyone was good. I had goosebumps from a participant to another. Even the girl sitting next to me was only 16 and she’s in the school choir. And I didn’t even make it to the school Nasyid. Rasa loser siodd.

Ok tipu, I was in the school Nasyid and still … I think I suck.

So then it was my turn. And at last, it’s the song that Le (3rd brother, my YM pic yg terjelir lidah tu) selalu kutuk if I sang it, it’s “Flying Without Wings”. Yes, Westlife baby. But I didn’t get to my favourite part. They stopped me, so they requested another song. Ape lagi…”Sampai Syurga” lahh… had someone in mind and I think I gave it all.

Second round – Acting! Ding!

I surprised myself. And I think I suck at it too.

Third round – Dancing! Ding!

Suck! Suck! Suck!

Whateverrrr… I knew I had fun.. and I didn’t care.
